Russian Federation Coffee Imports and Re-Exports Data

 


Since 1990, Russian Federation has imported an estimated 5,376,032,493 kg (kilograms) of green bean coffee, averaging 199,112,314 kg each year. Roasting and re-exporting an estimated 20,923,846 kg each year on the global market .

Looking at the start and end figures for this period, overall, imports of green bean coffee in Russian Federation have decreased. Whilst re-exports of roasted coffee have increased.


Russian Federation Green Bean Coffee Import Data

Russian Federation green bean coffee imports were at the lowest in 1996 at an estimated 67,680,000 kg.

The importing of green bean coffee was at its highest in 2017. With an estimated total of 328,080,000 kg of green bean coffee being imported.


Russian Federation Re-Exports of Roasted Coffee

In Russian Federation re-exports of coffee, now roasted, was at its highest in 2018 with an estimated 63,240,000 kg being roasted coffee being exported from the country. In 1992 re-exports were at the lowest point with 300,000 kg being re-exported for consumption elsewhere.

The statistical coffee data shows that, since 1990, a total of 544,020,000 kg (544,020 tonnes) of coffee has been roasted and re-exported by Russian Federation. Averaging 20,923,846 kg per year during times of active exporting. On the whole, re-exporting of coffee has gone up during this period.


Russian Federation Roasted Coffee Retail Price Data

Russian Federation roasted coffee retail prices peaked in 2013 at an estimated $19.16USD/kg.

The statistical coffee data shows that, roasted coffee retail prices were the lowest in 2015 at an estimated $14.18USD/kg.

Through this period, Russian Federation roasted coffee retail prices have averaged $16.67USD/kg. Through this time, coffee retail prices have dropped.


ICO Composite Indicator Import Prices

The price per kilogram per kilogram of green bean coffee paid by Russian Federation is estimated to have been at the highest in 2011 at an estimated $4.64USD/kg. The data also shows that this price was the lowest during 2001 at an estimated $1.01/kg.

To conclude, the statistical coffee data shows that the purchase price per kilogram of green bean coffee in Russian Federation has increased. Averaging $2.31USD per kilo.
